Jon Block
Director, Online Development
Jon wrote the original version of College Publisher in 1999 before graduating from Emerson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in New Media. His web application development articles have been published in The ColdFusion Developer's Journal and on Webmonkey.com. Jon specializes in ColdFusion MX web programming and volunteers on the Macromedia's Customer Advisory Board for ColdFusion.
Paul Pennelli
Director, Web Products
Paul Pennelli has been with Y2M since 2001 and has eight years of
cumulative experience in campus media. In his time at Y2M, Paul has
served in several roles that have given him a broad perspective on
the college and recent graduate markets. Through his relationships
in campus media, Paul has worked to grow the College Publisher Network
significantly and has actively shaped best-practices for online publishing
and interactive advertising in the market. He works extensively with
professionals and students in order to ensure that Y2M’s media
and technology offerings are relevant to the 18-24 demographic. Prior
to Y2M, Paul worked in product marketing for Genuity. He holds a BS
in Marketing from the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University,
where he was the editor in chief of The Fairfield Mirror.
Matthew C Smith
Director, Creative Services
Matt is College Publisher's lead designer, with experience in the areas of standards based web design, usability, graphic arts, multimedia, and photography. During his tenure at College Publisher, Matt has produced a multitude of high-profile marketing campaigns and designed over 300 partner websites. While in college, Matt acted as production manager and on-air talent for ACRN and The Underground college radio stations, and photography editor for the campus yearbook, The Makio. Prior to College Publisher, Matt was a Business Systems Technical Liaison at TRW's corporate headquarters. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications - Digital Media from The Ohio State University.
